Enniscorthy TD James Browne has called on the government to speed up GLAS and AEOS payments to farmers in County Wexford.
Figures obtained by Fianna Fail show that over 10,000 farmers across the country are still waiting for payments due to delays. It's estimated up 40 million euro in payments have been delayed in recent months. Deputy Browne says the delays are putting serious financial pressure on farmers and that Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed has some serious explaining to do.
