Wexford Lions Club volunteers are inviting the public to step back in time with a series of guided heritage tours of Selskar Abbey this summer.
The tours explore the 13th-century site and its deep connections to Wexford town’s medieval past, with guides sharing stories of the abbey’s former occupants and key historical events linked to the area.
Visitors can also discover some of the site’s more striking features, including its carved grotesques and ancient stone remains, offering a glimpse into centuries of history at the heart of the town.
The tours run from the Nickey Rackard statue at Trimmers Lane, starting at 11am Monday to Saturday, and continue until the end of September.
