The Health Minister has launched a new survey to find out how patients are being treated in our hospitals.
Starting next month, all adults being discharged from Wexford General and other hospitals will be asked how they found the staff, the food and their care. The project is being undertaken by HIQA the The Health and Quality Authority. Rachel Flynn from HIQA says the questions will focus on how the patient was treated by staff and if they felt they received the necessary care they needed.
