Housing minister to unveil strategy to tackle housing crisis later
The Housing Minister is due to unveil her strategy to tackle the housing crisis this afternoon. Jan O'Sullivan briefed her cabinet colleagues on the plans this morning. It's understood she told ministers that 2,600 people are currently homeless - a number the government believes is manageable. The government's already set aside 100 million euro this year to develop more social housing.
