Howlin says government will meet to discuss fallout of local elections
As the Labour party in County Wexford and across the country settles down to re-examine it's role in Government Minister Brendan Howlin has acknowledged the message sent out by the voters in the county. Minister Howlin says the Labour party and the coalition Government will have to take heed of the mood of the voters with just two representatives on Wexford County Council. That's down from four on the old council. He says people wanted to give a clear message to government to take the pressure off struggling families. The Minister says the party will be meeting this week to discuss where they go from here.
