Jockey continues rehab following fall at wexford racetrack
A young jockey who suffered life altering injuries at Wexford racetack will attempt to mount a horse today. 26 year-old Robbie McNamara from Limerick sustained the injuires when he fell from his mount while racing in Wexford on April 10th last. He suffered multiple injuries which has left him wheelchair bound with no feeling in his legs. This afternoon he is being taken to a riding school in Bray where he hopes to get up on a horse again as part of his rehabilitation. Asked if he hopes to walk again the young jockey said he hasn't been told no but says he'd be very surprised.
