Kenny says he prefers if ministers air their views at cabinet table instead of in public
The Taoiseach says he'd prefer if Government Ministers aired their view at the cabinet table rather than raise them in public. Enda Kenny's comments in Brussels this afternoon can only be viewed as a direct criticism of Leo Varadkar and Joan Burton who both called yesterday on the Garda Commissioner to withdraw remarks made about whistleblower's Sgt. Maurice McCabe and John Wilson. But the row over the 'disgusting' comment made by Commissioner Callinan could be about to cause a deeper division around the cabinet table, with reports Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore is siding with Minister's Varadkar and Burton. However Mr. Kenny is stressing that he doesn't want Ministers to be restricted.
