Kilmore quay fisherman to be laid to rest today
The remains of Kilmore Quay fisherman Paddy Barry will be laid to rest today over five months since he was reported missing while on a fishing trip off the South coast of Wexford. The 51 year old from Grange, Kilmore went missing on the 25th of November last year. It's believed he fell over board from his lobster boat while out at sea alone to harvest his catch. Mr. Barry, who was a father of three children, was a highly experienced fisherman. An extensive search of the area at the time failed to locate his body. Paddy Barry's remains were found on Sunday afternoon washed onto land on the Great Saltee Island, by members of the public who were birdwatching.
