Labour needs experience in it's new leader according to wexford county councillor
A Wexford Labour county councillor has criticised comments that the all five of the party's cabinet ministers, including Brendan Howlin, should be replaced. Meath East TD Dominic Hannigan says Labour's recovery cannot be left in the hands of people who have spent decades in Leinster House and that he's considering running to become the next leader of the party. But newly re-elected councillor George Lawlor says what the party needs is someone with experience to take over the leadership. He says the party and country needs stability and someone such as Brendan Howlin or Joan Burton will bring that.
