Lack of manpower major issue for gardai in wexford
A lack of manpower is the biggest issue facing gardai in County Wexford. That's according to Garda Derek Campion, the Wexford representative at the GRA conference in Carlow today. He told Alan Corcoran on South East Radio's Morning Mix that the force here is one of the most under resourced in the country. Garda Campion says Wexford is the third worst division in terms of manpower. He says the county has country stations where country gardai are being brought in to cover bigger centres, with places like Duncannon, Campile, Carrig-on-bannow losing out.
