A Carlow Parish looks set to overturn a decision to scrap the Communion Day for children in 3 schools.
Parents from the parish of Askea have been told they'll receive letters in the coming days confirming the decision. Initially, the Communion Day was shelved, with children invited to make their communion on any Mass Day in May. Speaking on the Morning Mix, Local parent Ann Lennon says they were told of the initial decision at a meeting last Wednesday.
