Mandela's funeral arrangements announced
South Africa's President has announced that Nelson Mandela's funeral will take place on the 15th of December. Jacob Zuma released details for a week of services outside the Mandela family home in Johannesburg. South Africa's Government has also declared that this coming Sunday as a National day of prayer and reflection. Mandela's body will lie in state at the Government Buildings in Pretoria before he's laid to rest in his native Qunu. General Manager of the Brandon House Hotel in New Ross Bettie Marie Burger Smit who's a native of South Africa spoke to South East Radio. She says Mandela was seen as a great legal mind which gained him great respect.
