A meeting on social inclusion will take place next Monday in Enniscorthy as part of preparations for the annual Social Inclusion Forum in May.
This forum, hosted by the Department of Social Protection, will address poverty and social exclusion.
Wexford, along with Dublin, Limerick, and the Aran Islands, have been selected to host preparatory workshops aimed at drafting a report to inform policy decisions.
The meeting at the Presentation Arts Centre will focus on the rising number of people at risk of poverty, especially among the elderly and working families.
