More jobs for enniscorthy company as u.s expansion offially opened
A major expansion to a Wexford man's business in the U.S is expected to create more jobs at the company's headquarters in Enniscorthy. Taoglas founder Dermot O'Shea from Summerhill in Enniscorthy is opening a two million dollar extension to his plant in San Diego in California today. Taoglas specialises in the provision of antennae solutions to the electronics industry and already employs 37 people in the Kilcannon Business Park in Enniscorthy. Dermot O'Shea says today's U.S investment announcement will be goodNews for Enniscorthy also: "We'll be recruiting more people their (Enniscorthy) this year" he said. "The business is growing very strongly and there are certain functions that are supported from Enniscorthy globally like finance, marketing, R*D, product management and things like that" he added.
