A motorcyclist in his 50s has been taken to Wexford General Hospital following a collision with a car on the R730 at Rocksborough in Wexford town.
The incident happened near the junction by the new Lidl supermarket, close to the Kerlogue junction.
Gardaí and the National Ambulance Service attended the scene, with the motorcyclist’s injuries understood to be non-life-threatening.
The collision has also renewed discussion around road safety in the area, with plans for a new level crossing to improve pedestrian access near the supermarket.
