As of 2pm today over 9,289 homes, farms and businesses are without power throughout Co Wexford this afternoon as Storm Bram moves over the country from south to north. Coastal areas in particular are seeing lots of damage with trees down and roads blocked in many areas. The Rose Kennedy bridge has also been temporarily closed with diversions in place through New Ross town. Route 388 Duncormick to Wexford is temporarily suspended with the next service departing Redmond Square at 15:40 and from Duncormick at 15:30.The 14:10 from Wexford and 14:00 from Duncormick are cancelled. The New Line road is blocked at Coolbrook just outside Wellingtonbridge. On the Taghmon to Larkin's Cross road there is a tree down and another down at Newcastle Cleariestown. There is also a tree down on Baldwinstown Road while there is a tree blocking the road between Edermine Bridge and Bree. ESB Networks says the majority of the power outages are in here in Wexford as well as in Cork, Tipperary, Limerick and Kildare. Nationwide Over 22,000 customers are affected by outages.
