New educate together primary school announced for new ross

A new Educate Together Primary school is set to open in New Ross in September. The announcement was made by the Minister for Education Jan O'Sullivan this morning. It's one of three being announced under the patronage of Educate Together today and along with Gorey and Wexford it's the third such primary school to open in the county. Regional Development Officer with Educate Together Niall Wall says the New Ross school will offer educational diversity to parents in that catchment area. He says it's part of a national programme and will open in September 2015 in temporary buildings with the hope of attaining a permanent building in the next few years.
