New ross and enniscorthy bypasses delayed
Commencement work on the New Ross and Enniscorthy bypasses is set to be delayed. This is due to a delay in the signing off on contracts for the proposed works. Work was due to commence on the New Ross bypass this year but this is not now expected to happen until next year, while work on the Enniscorthy project will also start then. Up to 700 people will be employed in construction works which is expected to be completed in 2018.
