New trial date for man accused of killing elaine o'hara

A new trial date has been fixed for the man accused of murdering childcare worker Elaine O'Hara in Dublin in 2012. Graham Dwyer - a father of two from Kerrymount Close in Foxrock in Dublin - was to stand trial in April of next year but now been moved forward to January. Defence Barrister Ronan Kennedy applied for the date to be moved in light of a recent failed bail application. The 41-year-old architect is accused of murdering Elaine O'Hara - whose father is from Wexford Town - on August 22nd 2012. Her remains were found on Killakee Mountain in Rathfarnham last September - 13 months after her disappearance. The trial will now go ahead on January 19th next and it's expected to last six weeks.
