New wexford co. council chairman says tough budget choices will be made
Tough choices in spending are going to have to be made on Wexford County Council. They're the views of new chairman - Fianna Fáil's Malcolm Byrne - after he reviewed the books on his election to the chair of the new body last Friday. He says crucial decisions will have to be made by the autumn. Councillor Byrne says there will be a cross party meeting with the council's finance officials in the near future.
