Over 100 people treated for effects of drink and drugs at belfast concert
108 young people have been treated by paramedics for the effects of drink and drugs outside a concert in Belfast. 17 were taken to hospital last night. Emergency crews say many - including young teens turned up already heavily intoxicated. Some of them were not allowed inside the Odyssey Arena to see the Dutch DJ Hardwell. He is due to play in the O2 in Dublin tonight. Joe Hyland, from the SOS Bus in Northern Ireland, treated some of the people. "The problem is that the children have had a chance to buy drink or get drink which they consume on the bus perhaps; and by the time they arrive, we're picking up the pieces before the concert starts" he said.
