The future development of Wexford Town is being opened up for public discussion today, with major proposals covering housing, transport, schools and community facilities.
Wexford County Council is inviting residents and businesses to have their say on a new Urban Framework Plan, which will help shape how the town grows in the years ahead.
Among the documents published is a masterplan for Ballynagee, identifying potential new schools, housing, further education facilities, a Wexford FC arena and improved road connections.
Council planners will be at Wexford Library on Mallin Street from three until seven this evening to answer questions and explain the proposals.
The deadline for public submissions is November 24th at four o'clock.
