County Wexford Chamber is preparing for a busy few weeks, with its annual Leadership Summit taking place next Thursday, November 12th, at the Ferrycarrig Hotel.
The full-day event will bring together business leaders and representatives from a range of sectors to discuss leadership, business growth and the opportunities and challenges facing County Wexford.
The summit will run from 9am to 4pm, with a programme of speakers and discussions exploring how businesses can develop and how Wexford can continue to grow as a place to live, work and invest.
Meanwhile, the Chamber is encouraging shoppers and businesses to get behind its Shop Local Gift Card campaign ahead of Christmas.
The scheme allows people to support businesses throughout the county, with more than 200 participating outlets across retail, hospitality, food, leisure and services.
The gift card generated close to €700,000 in sales last Christmas, and the Chamber has set an ambitious target of reaching €1 million this year.
The campaign also offers employers an opportunity to reward staff through the Small Benefit Exemption while keeping spending within the local economy.
Speaking on Morning Mix, County Wexford Chamber CEO Paula Roche discussed the upcoming Leadership Summit, recent additions to the Chamber's membership and the importance of supporting local businesses in the run-up to Christmas.
