Public Information Session – Beechlawn & Clonard Avenue Pedestrian and Cycling Scheme Wexford County Council is inviting the public to learn more about a new scheme aimed at improving road safety and enhancing walking and cycling routes along Beechlawn and Clonard Avenue. The proposed 1.7-kilometre route will include new pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, several pedestrian crossings, and traffic-calming measures. Funded by the National Transport Authority, it will link with the Newtown Road Active Travel Scheme, creating a key route across the west side of Wexford Town and improving connections to local schools and residential areas. A public drop-in information session will take place on Thursday, November 6th , at County Hall, Carricklawn , between 3pm and 7pm . Drawings of the proposed design will be on display, and council staff will be available to answer questions. Further details are available by emailing activetravel@wexfordcoco.ie .
