Road Safety Warning Issued as Harvest Traffic Increases Across Wexford

Motorists are being reminded to take extra care on rural roads as the harvest season gets underway.

The sunshine has allowed winter crops to be harvested slightly earlier than usual so this means, combines, tractors and trailers will be travelling across the road network over the coming weeks. 

Wexford IFA Environmental Chair Jer O'Mahony is asking farmers to pull in where it's safe, and motorists to be patient and only overtake when it's safe to do so
