Rosslare Harbour RNLI came to the rescue of a lone sailor after a yacht got into difficulty off the Wexford coast.
The alarm was raised on Monday afternoon after the vessel encountered problems near Raven Point, Curracloe.
The all-weather lifeboat launched from Rosslare Harbour and reached the yacht within minutes.
The sailor was assessed by the crew before the vessel was safely escorted back to Rosslare Harbour.
The RNLI is reminding anyone heading out on the water to carry a means of communication and always check weather conditions before setting sail.
