Ryanair plane bound for luton diverted to stansted after security alert

In the UK - RAF fighter jets have intercepted a Ryanair plane, and escorted it to Stansted airport.

The flight from Kaunas in Lithuania had been bound for Luton before it was diverted. Ryanair says it was because of a 'suspected hoax security alert'. Passengers will be transferred to Luton by coach.
