Speculation is mounting that a consortium is being put together to finance a third level institution for county Wexford.
This may have a bearing on why the sale of Saint Senans Hospital and lands in Enniscorthy was cancelled the day before the auction this week. Its believed there may be a tie in with a third level facility outside the country in what is being proposed. Neil Hughes of Baker Tilly Hughes Blake Accountants in Enniscorthy says its an exciting prospect.
