The Makers House in Wexford is celebrating Craft Month with a Summer Festival of Art, Craft and Design on Saturday, August 15th, from 12 noon to 4pm.
The family-friendly event will feature art and craft workshops led by Mary Wallace and Mairead Stafford, along with demonstrations in calligraphy, candle making, soft pastel artwork and silversmithing.
Booking is essential for the workshops, while the demonstrations are free to attend.
Jackie Mitchell’s exhibition Bound by the Sea also continues at The Raven’s Nest Gallery until August 23rd, celebrating Ireland’s maritime heritage through paintings and vintage family photographs.
Admission to the festival and exhibition is free, with everyone welcome.
