The Taoiseach is waiting to hear from Theresa May this morning after key Brexit votes in the House of Commons.
The two leaders are due to speak to discuss the way forward. Leo Varadkar insists the backstop is essential to any deal - despite the UK voting to scrap it. Mrs May will now go back to Brussels looking for more concessions.
