Temperatures to soar to 24 degrees in warmest day of the year so far

The South East could be in for the warmest day of the year so far according to Met Eireann.

The sunshine is very welcome after an unusually long winter and cold spring. Temperatures today are set to reach 24 degrees in warm sunshine, but forecaster Liz Walsh say that in some places it could get even warmer
