Three County Wexford SPAR stores have been recognised for delivering exceptional standards in retailing at the 2026 SPAR 365 Standards Customer Care Programme Awards.
The awards ceremony took place recently at the Killashee Hotel in Naas, County Kildare, and was hosted by BWG Foods, owners and operators of the SPAR brand in Ireland.
Among those honoured were Corrigan’s SPAR in Oulart, O’Brien’s SPAR in Blackwater and Wallace’s SPAR in Kilmore Quay.
The annual awards recognise stores that have demonstrated excellence across all aspects of retail operations over the past year.
Winning stores underwent independent assessment across a range of areas including customer service, carried out by Solution Management Associates, alongside comprehensive food safety and hygiene audits conducted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
The awards acknowledge retailers who consistently implement high operational standards while delivering a strong customer experience within their local communities.
Congratulating the winners, SPAR Sales Director Colin Donnelly said SPAR retailers continue to provide exceptional service across Ireland and praised the County Wexford recipients for their commitment and dedication.
He said their efforts had been outstanding and that the recognition was thoroughly deserved.
