A vital defibrillator has gone missing in Wexford and the community is deeply concerned. The life-saving device which was there to help in emergencies was taken sometime on the night of Thursday October 16th or early morning Friday 17th October. Though it’s possible it was taken with good intentions it’s now gone and without it lives could be at risk. These defibrillators are crucial in cases of sudden cardiac arrest where every second counts – without it, someone might not make it. Sadly, this isn’t the first time a defibrillator has been out of action in the town. Another has been vandalized, leaving the area with fewer resources to save lives. The missing defibrillator needs to be found. If you have any information, please come forward – it could be the key to saving someone’s life. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Order of Malta at 087 132 7835 or Wexford Garda Station
