Ibrahim Halawa is expected to discover his fate today after being imprisoned in Egypt for the past four years.
The 21 year old Dubliner was arrested during a political protest in 2013 and has been one of nearly 500 defendants in a prolonged mass trial. Regardless of the outcome, Ibrahim could return home under a Presidential pardon or deportation if the Egyptian leader honours his commitment. Colm O'Gorman from Amnesty International Ireland says there's a chance the judge could rule in Ibrahim's favour.
