Gardaí in Co Wexford have confirmed that 11 people were arrested for drink or drug driving over the past week. Gardaí revealed 2 arrests were made in Enniscorthy, 3 were in Gorey and 6 were in the Wexford area in the last 7 days. The arrests were made as part of ongoing roadside checks and increased patrols targeting impaired driving. Speaking on MM Sergeant Eddie Wilde urged all motorists to think twice before getting behind the wheel under the influence, especially ahead of the festive season.
