A team representing Wexford Golf Club is heading to Belfast this weekend to compete in the All-Ireland finals. It has been 14 years since Wexford last won the competition, and the team will be hoping to bring the title back to the county. The squad has been preparing for the competition and says they are looking forward to taking on some of the best teams from across the country. Team member Rachel O’Connor says the players are confident they can give the competition a good go and are excited about the challenge ahead. A table quiz will also take place at Wexford Golf Club tomorrow evening at 7:30pm, with funds raised going towards helping the team with the costs of travelling to Belfast for the finals. The team will be hoping for plenty of local support as they look to end Wexford's 14-year wait for another All-Ireland title.
