A Wexford tourism business has been recognised for its commitment to staff engagement and workplace culture at this year’s Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Awards. Talbot Suites at Stonebridge has received the Best Employer: Communication and Involvement award, celebrating its efforts in keeping employees informed, involved and connected within the business. The awards recognise tourism employers across Ireland who are leading the way in creating positive workplace environments and supporting their teams. The Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Programme, launched in 2022, has supported hundreds of tourism businesses in improving employee engagement, retention and workplace practices. Speaking at the awards, Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke TD said the tourism sector is driven by its people and praised businesses that are helping to build a stronger and more sustainable workforce. Fáilte Ireland Chief Executive Caroline Bocquel said the awards highlight the important role employers play in creating high-quality experiences for both staff and visitors.
