New Central Statistics Office figures show continued growth in property prices across County Wexford, with increases recorded in all major towns compared to the previous year.
In 2026, the median price of a home in Wexford town stood at €315,000, up from €299,500 in 2025. Enniscorthy also saw growth, rising from €274,000 to €300,000, while New Ross increased from €192,000 to €225,000. Gorey recorded the highest median price in the county, rising from €320,000 in 2025 to €350,000 in 2026.
The figures reflect a broader national trend, with the CSO reporting that residential property prices increased by 7.5% in the 12 months to March 2025. Prices outside Dublin rose by 8.7%, compared with a 6.0% increase in the capital.
The national median price of a dwelling in the 12 months to March 2025 was €362,500, with the highest median recorded in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown at €665,000 and the lowest in Leitrim at €180,000.
The CSO also reported 3,617 dwelling purchases were filed in March 2025, including 1,336 first-time buyer transactions.
