Met Éireann has issued another Status Yellow weather warning for Wexford. The warning also includes Cork, Kerry and Waterford. The warning is due to heavy rain, sleet and snow expected on Thursday afternoon. Storm Goretti will bring hazardous conditions with snow accumulations likely at higher elevations. The warning which is valid from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, is expected to cause poor visibility, icy patches and spot flooding leading to potentially dangerous travel conditions. Drivers are urged to exercise caution throughout the affected areas.
