Wexford man Damian Furlong is taking on an incredible 1,450-kilometre kayaking challenge around the entire coastline of Ireland in memory of his late brother Neville.
Already well into the six-week journey, Damian has battled tough conditions, covered huge distances and raised more than €11,000 for St Francis Hospice - far exceeding his original target.
Damian says he hopes this challenge will honour Neville's memory while raising funds for a worthy cause.
He spoke to South East Radio about the journey so far as he remembered his brother fondly.
