A Wexford man has got the top job in the Irish Farmers AssociationDamian McDonald from Crossabeg is to be the new Director General of the organisation. The elevation of the Wexford man to head up the IFA comes after a year long search for the right candidate. Damian McDonalds predecessor Pat Smith resigned in controversial circumstances last November which led to a major rethink of the structure and ethos of the IFA.
