MarineWatch, the volunteer-led organisation supporting suicide prevention, crisis intervention and water safety awareness across the South East, is entering a new chapter with a change in leadership.
Former Garda Inspector Denis Whelan is taking over as Chairperson following the stepping down of George Lawlor, while CEO Alice Kealy continues to lead the organisation’s frontline work and community outreach.
Denis and Alice discuss the transition, the ongoing demand for MarineWatch’s services, and the organisation’s plans for the future.
