After the devastating loss of her twin sons Alfie and Archie in October 2025, from Camolin is turning grief into support for other families experiencing baby loss.
Kim and her family were cared for at Wexford General Hospital, where a CuddleCot gave them precious extra time with their babies following their premature birth at 20 weeks. The cooling device allowed family members to meet Alfie and Archie, hold a naming ceremony, and create memories together, including giving their young son Tommy Jnr the chance to meet his brothers.
Now Kim has launched a fundraiser with the goal of raising €5,000 for a new CuddleCot for the hospital’s bereavement unit. Extra funds raised will support , which helps families affected by baby loss across Ireland.
Through community events and open conversations, Kim hopes to raise awareness around bereavement care and encourage families to speak more openly about the realities of baby loss.
