Wexford sets local property tax rate

Wexford County Council has set an increase to the Local Property Tax for next year

The increase amounts to a 4.76 per cent hike on the current rate It represents an overall increase of ten per cent in the base rate which was set in 2012 The property tax generates 12.2 million euro in funding for the council This extra money raised next year will go towards specific economic projects for the county
