Wexford consumers use some of the least amount of water in the country.
According to figures from the CSO residents in County Wexford use an average of 330 litres of water per day. This is the second lowest in the country apart from Cavan on 313 litres. The average for the country per day is 383 litres. However water consumers in both Kerry and Tipperary have a daily average consumption of 430 litres, one hundred litres more than the daily average in in Wexford.
