A woman in urgent need of adapted housing has shared her heartbreaking struggle for a suitable home

Mary is currently living in a council house with severe mobility issues. 

Despite being on a priority list for five years, she faces constant delays and unfulfilled promises from local authorities. 

Her condition, a rare neurological disorder affecting her mobility, requires a wet room and proper accessibility, but she’s been told these adjustments are "not feasible." 

With no immediate help, her daughter has expressed frustration at the lack of support, calling for urgent action to allow her mother to live independently
