As students across the country receive their Leaving Certificate results today, Wexford’s Harrison Rossiter McGuire is encouraging students and parents to make use of the support available.
Harrison, from St Peter’s College, is also receiving his own results today and has recently taken on the role of President of the Irish Second-Level Students’ Union (ISSU).
He says students should remember that their results do not define their future, with plenty of options available, including CAO courses, apprenticeships, Further Education and Training and other pathways.
The National Parents and Students Leaving Certificate Helpline is available for advice on results, appeals, reviewing exam scripts and education options.
Phone: 1800 265 165
Text: 086 180 0685
The service runs from today, Friday August 21st, until Saturday August 29th, with professional guidance counsellors available.
And a huge congratulations to Harrison on his own Leaving Certificate results today, we wish him every success as he takes on his new role as ISSU President.
