Wording of marriage equality referendum agreed
The Cabinet has agreed to the wording of the Marriage Equality referendum. Ministers signed off on the document at a special cabinet meeting this morning. Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald will publish the wording in a statement in the coming hours. While no firm date for the referendum has agreed, the coalition says it'll take place in May alongside a poll on reducing the age of candidacy for the Presidency and the Carlow-Kilkenny by-election.
