President Who Stopped War Accepts Nobel Prize

The Colombian President has accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo – describing it as a “gift from heaven”. Juan Manuel Santos says it helped make possible the “impossible dream” of ending his country’s half-century-long civil war. More than 200-thousand people have been killed and 8-million displaced in the longest-running conflict in the Western Hemisphere.
