South East Radio’s CEO Eamonn Buttle receives prestigious honour

The owner and Chief Executive of South East Radio today received a prestigious National Radio Award.

Eamonn Buttle, who is celebrating 30 years in the media business in County Wexford, was this morning inducted into the PPI Radio Awards Hall of Fame.img_2196

Mr. Buttle received the honor for his illustrious contribution to radio in Ireland.

 

He’s a founding member of the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland and the longest serving board member & chairman of the organisation.

Eamonn Buttle was instrumental in setting up Independent Radio Sales and Learning Waves, a national radio training organisation.

Broadcasters Ian Dempsey, Dave Fanning and Trevor Campbell were also inducted into the PPI Hall of Fame today.

Eamonn Buttle said it was a proud moment for him and his family.
